The Edgcumbe Arms is situated in the village of Cremyll on the banks of the River Tamar and has fabulous views to Drakes Island and Plymouth Sound. The Cremyll passenger ferry leaves from outside the pub to Stonehouse in Plymouth.
Alternatively on this side of the water we are about a 10 minute drive from Kingsand and Cawsand 30 minute drive from Looe and Polperro. On our doorstep is Edgcumbe house and gardens with acres of woodland and coastal walks including the South West coast path.
Whether you want a quick drink, relaxing meal or a cosy place to stay, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

Our choice of meals were varied and were well presented and the portions more than adequate, for we are all hearty eaters. The food was well prepared and cooked to perfection, and the service was prompt . The choice of beers was more than adequate, and the bar was well populated and the ambient mood was all that one could expect at this location. We left feeling well refreshed, and at reasonable cost. The room was very clean, the bathroom facilities were good, the extras provided were excellent and again fresh. The views fantastic!!! The rates reasonable. We had an evening meal which was good and the service was efficient and very friendly. The breakfast was the best.Excellent!!!
Overall an enjoyable experience and have definitely improved! Recommended

We found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. It was great to receive a welcome for our well-behaved dogs also. We ate meals on the two occasions and the food was delicious although there was a bit of a wait but this is only to be expected in high season. Sitting outside enjoying a drink by the river was relaxing. If we are in the area again we would not hesitate to return. A delightful pub which is full of history and character.
